山の上のカフェでホットケーキを食べた日の夜、夢の中で巨大なホットケーキに登るおやきさん。二段重ねの分厚いホットケーキの上ではまんまるのバターが溶岩のようにとろけ、メープルシロップで出来たつづら折りの道を粉糖がさらりと雪化粧している。

分厚く赤いカップの底からはいい香りのコーヒーが湧き出し、どれだけ飲んでも減ることがない。夢の中で心ゆくまでスイーツタイムを楽しんだおやきさん、また登りたいダブルホットケーキマウンテン。

On the night after eating pancakes at a cafe on top of a mountain, Oyaki-san dreams of climbing a giant pancake. A perfectly round piece of butter melts like lava on the thick, two-tiered pancake, and a switchback path made of maple syrup is covered in a light dusting of powdered sugar. Fragrant coffee bubbles up from the bottom of a thick, red cup, and no matter how much he drinks, it never gets low. Oyaki-san enjoys a sweet time to his heart’s content in his dream, and is eager to climb Double Pancake Mountain again.
