喫茶古山羊 – Cafe Koyagi –

雨の日、喫茶古山羊（こやぎ）を訪れたおやきさん。カウンターで本を読んでいると友達がひとり、ふたりとやってくる。話し込むでもなくみんなそれぞれに本を読んでいる。ハチドリが舞う繊細な絵柄のコーヒーカップ、唐草模様のカップ、ウサギのシュガーポット、黒電話、喫茶店のオリジナルマッチとガラスの灰皿。古い木製のドアにはオープンの札がかかっている。窓辺の一輪挿しにはドクダミが２輪。ガクアジサイには水滴が光る。どうやら雨があがったところ。

English; On a rainy day, Oyaki-san visits Cafe Koyagi. As he is reading a book at the counter, one by one, his friends arrive. Without even starting to talk, everyone is reading their own book. There is a coffee cup with a delicate design of a fluttering hummingbird, a cup with an arabesque pattern, a rabbit sugar pot, a black telephone, and the cafe’s original matches and glass ashtray. There is an open sign hanging on the old wooden door. Two Houttuynia flowers are in a vase by the windowsill. Drops of water glisten on the lacecap hydrangea. It seems the rain has just stopped.
