世界の誕生日 ~ The Birthday of the World

とても盛大なお誕生日パーティ。薄い水色のクロスがかかった長いテーブルの上には巨大なバースデイケーキやお寿司、果物などのごちそうが並ぶ。テーブルを取り囲むのは、ピンク色の花びらを撒くおやきさん、その隣には両手でポンポンを振る夢銀行のバクさん、バースデイソングの指揮を執るのはミロクさん（右手は思惟のポーズ、左手にはタクト）、お誕生席の正面に座るのはご近所のカラスさん、仕事着のままお店から駆け付けたのは「しろやぎ書店」のシロヤギさん、ブルーの蝶ネクタイをつけた河童さんははにかみながらクラッカーを鳴らし、おにぎりさんは椅子の上に立ってヒャッホウ！とクラッカーを鳴らす。はじける笑顔でいっぱいの部屋。今日は世界の誕生日。お誕生席に座るのは・・・あなた！
It looks like a very grand birthday party. A huge birthday cake, sushi, fruits and other delicacies are laid out on a long table covered with a light blue cloth. Surrounding the table are Oyaki-san, wearing a party cone and scattering pink petals, Baku-san from Dream Bank, waving pom-poms with both hands, Miroku-san (right hand in a contemplative pose, left hand with a baton) directing the birthday song, Karasu-san from the neighborhood, Shiroyagi-san from Shiroyagi Bookstore, who rushed over from the shop still wearing her work clothes, Kappa-san wearing a blue bow tie, shyly popping crackers, and Onigiri-san standing on a chair, popping crackers and shouting “Yay!”　 A room full of beaming smiles. Today is the world’s birthday. Sitting in the birthday seat is… YOU!!
